Decentralized play-to-earn platform creates metaverse of fun and innovative games
The year 2021 will be remembered as the metaverse’s breakthrough year. The idea immediately gained traction, progressing from discussions to project development and popular acceptance. Despite all of the positive aspects, it has one flaw: an overemphasis on the game part.
However, the metaverse encompasses much more than games. It is not only a world of entertainment, and people should not have to pay to enjoy it. Dontplaywithkitty.io (DPK) aims to alleviate these problems.
The metaverse, according to the idea, is a place where people may verify private assets. It’s also forming a digital community with access to the entire cosmos. Its goal is to provide a free play-to-earn environment for its consumers. It will accomplish so by combining GameFi with nonfungible tokens (NFTs).
DPK sees the metaverse as a place to live, not only play games. It allows users to create and earn money. At the same time, it offers assistance in getting resources for community members.
“Today you produce cats; tomorrow cats may bring you a fortune.” “You can play all DPK platform games with just one NFT,” the team explains.
Getting to know Dontplaywithkitty
Kreatties and their children are at the heart of the DPK platform. Kreatties are NFTs that serve as login coupons for the site. The DPK platform’s 7000 Kreatty NFTs have all been sold out and will no longer be available.
Access to all following games is one of the advantages of owning them. You may also form clans, which are groups of people that share hash rates. Profits are split evenly among the clan members.
There are two primary tokens in DPK. The DPK token serves as the platform’s governance token, while the KIT token serves as its utility token.
DPK tokens can be staked for rewards, but KIT tokens can be burnt for stakes.
Dontplaywithkitty also provides two gameplay options: a player versus environment (PvE) mode in which a user competes against computer-generated characters, and a player versus environment (PvE) mode in which a user competes against computer-generated characters. Alternatively, gamers can compete against other players on the platform using the PVP (player vs player) function.
DPK will include a variety of games once it is completely set up. However, just one Pet Garden is now operational. Brave World, the second game, will be published in January 2022; the third game is now under production and will be released in Q2 of 2022.
The9 Limited and Fire Rock Holdings Limited are two of the platform’s major investors. Roseon Finance of Vietnam, SAMSUNG GAMES EVERY GAME of Korea, GMC of China, HOT LABS, and 7 O’Clock Labs are among the other backers.
The platform’s NFT sales have been finished successfully. The Kreatty NFT was first released at a price of 0.12 BNB, and it has subsequently increased in value by 12.5 times. It is available for 1.5 BNB right now.
In the previous 12 months, Dontplaywithkitty has achieved significant milestones, including the launch of its debut game in November 2021 and the sale of all 7,000 NFTs made available during the launch.
On December 6, Dontplaywithkitty launched its first round pre-sale event for Mine Planet NFTs at a price of 1.5BNB, and all 1000 NFTs were sold out in under 11 minutes.
Furthermore, the project has been featured on DappRadar, where it now ranks second in monthly new game volume and ninth in daily BSC game volume.
Dontplaywithkitty has also joined the Binance Smart Chain (BSC) MVB ecosystem, indicating that this platform has made great development.
Dontplaywithkitty plans to start its Mine Planet metaverse project in December. Planets would be the first and most crucial location to issue DPK coins, as the valuable governance tokens have yet to be released, and the IDO is set for December 21.
The new DEX offering will be available concurrently on their own website as well as three other sites, including TrustPad. The allocation for Kreatty/kitty NFT owners is $300,000, with each Kreatty NFT owner having the right to acquire $30 worth of DPK tokens at the first IDO price, and each kitty NFT owner having the right to purchase $15 worth of DPK tokens at the initial IDO pricing. Players who do not have Kreatty/kitty NFTs can participate in the platforms’ offers.
Furthermore, Dontplaywithkitty has a link to the NFT dividing contract. It will incorporate the Vtoken AMM’s support further and begin constructing its sidechains. Following that, it plans to launch its DPK coin on major centralised exchanges.
The project will interface with Ethereum (ETH) and Polygon (MATIC) to enable cross-chain transactions, as well as establish its own native wallet system.
